A PEI Farm Story

Island owned and operated in the rolling hills of New Glasgow, Larkin Bros. started out small but has expanded to raising over 12,000 birds annually. Owners and brothers, Paul and Harvey Larkin pride themselves in being the largest turkey grower/producer in Prince Edward Island. Larkin Bros recently purchased an existing processing plant and opened a small retail shop at our Crapaud location.

Larkin Bros. prides themselves on their high-quality and value-added products including fresh and frozen whole turkeys and chickens, turkey and chicken breast, legs, thighs, and wings, fresh ground turkey, turkey burgers, smoked turkey breast, and boneless turkey breast.

Value-added Products:

Over the past several years, we have expanded our product line to include value-added products such as sausages, meatballs, ground turkey, smoked turkey breast, turkey burgers, chicken burgers, wings, chicken thighs, and chicken breast.  This allows us to operate year-round, instead of seasonally. Our products can be pre-ordered online and picked up at one of our retail locations.

All birds are grain-fed, medication, and antibiotic-free, and do not contain animal by-products in the feed.  This results in a high-quality poultry product.


Larkin Bros’ mission is to grow, process, and supply Prince Edward Island customers with high-quality poultry and poultry value-added products.


Larkin Bros’ vision is to grow the business so that Larkin Bros brand and products are known island-wide for quality and value, and to increase the number of birds from 12,000 to 15,000-17,000 annually.
